T!TV Launch
We’re happy and proud to officially launch Touché!TV
Inspired by the huge changes in media and the democratization of content, Touché!phd has equipped itself with its own television network.
Touché!TV is composed of three screens: one giant screen (4’ x 6’ projection) dominates the workspace of some 30 planners and buyers; a second similar size giant screen is seen in the Touché! café; a third 50” plasma screen is set up in the board room.
DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING
Touché!TV is a television station controlled, presented and managed by the artisans of Touché!phd themselves. Programming consists of a one hour rotation of content that includes original material submitted to the playlist by any employee, news obtained through a direct signal from a TV network, as well as advertising. Touché!TV is based on the digital signage technology from the Montreal firm X20 Media which allows easy management and dynamic video, photos and text content.
Astral Media Outdoor has already benefited from this new highly targeted advertising space as the first advertiser on Touché!TV.
“We are pleased to be able to count on this new media to communicate with the advertising and media planning community,” says André Allard, vice-president sales, Astral Media Affichage. “It also enables us to make our innovations known to greater number of industry professionals.”
In fact, the greatest concentration of media planners and buyers in one room in Canada are united in Touché!phd’s immense work area. More than $100 million in media space is planned and bought annually through these media strategists – an investment of about $1.9 million each week.
“The best way to understand the emerging media is to bring it inside and to be pioneers every day,” says Beat Richert, general manager of PHDiQ, the digital media division of Touché!phd. “Rather than media proposals gathering dust on someone’s desk, the media can put their products and proposals in front of all the planners and buyers.” (A media kit for advertisers is available.)
100% of advertising revenues generated by Touché!TV will be directed to the Pioneer Fund, a fund with the goal of motivating all Touché!phd employees to be innovative and to find new solutions in the use of media.
